Kildare's Niall Kelly says there has been a period of reflection after the Lilywhites' relegation from Allianz League Division 2, but hopes that a young team can show the maturity to bounce back in the Championship.
The Athy clubman, who was named Eirgrid U21 Player of the Month, was speaking to Off The Ball's Tommy Rooney.
"It can't be denied. It's been tough the way the league has panned out for us. Even though it's a young team, there's still a lot of senior members there, so it's up to us to show the maturity of the group to rebound from this and hopefully drive on for the championship in the summer," he said.
"There's a few weeks of reflection after the league finishes up trying to see where it may have went wrong in some games and where we did well in other games and try to build on our strengths."
