Newstalk 106-108 FM today launched its coverage of the 2015 GAA All-Ireland Senior Championships. This is the station’s fifth year covering the GAA and delivering the best commentary and analysis available on national radio.
Joining the team to offer their opinion and analysis on the 2015 GAA All Ireland Championships will be former Mayo football manager James Horan, recently retired Kilkenny hurler Brian Hogan as well as the Tipperary legend Eoin Kelly.
Speaking on today’s launch, Adrian Barry, Newstalk’s sports editor, said: “We are always excited when Championship season comes around; it is one of our favourite periods of the sporting calendar. Every member of the Off the Ball team lives and breathes football and hurling, and we have secured another all-star panel that will help us deliver the very best GAA coverage. Since Newstalk was awarded live commentary rights in 2011 the station has provided exciting and fresh commentary and analysis by securing the best panellists and commentators, many of whom are current or recently retired players and managers.

Newstalk’s 2014 GAA coverage included three provincial finals and two quarter finals and listeners can expect more of the same exciting action in 2015. The Off the Ball team will also be on-hand with live coverage from almost every fixture throughout the summer.
