This evening’s Dr McKenna Cup games are dropping like flies due to the inclement weather conditions.
Only one third of tonight’s third-round matches are still due to go ahead.
Cavan versus Monaghan at Kingspan Breffni Park, Derry's meeting with Queen’s at Owenbeg, Donegal's match against Fermanagh in Ballybofey, and Tyrone hosting Antrim at Healy Park are all postponed. All four games have been rescheduled for Sunday.
The semi-finals were set to take place this weekend but a statement on Ulster GAA's website said: "The Bank of Ireland Dr McKenna Cup semi finals will now take place on Wednesday 21st January, with the competition final on Saturday 24th January."
Still going ahead (at the time of going to press) Down against UUJ at Páirc Esler, and Armagh’s clash with St Mary's at the Athletic Grounds.
Meanwhile, the Munster Council have confirmed that all three Dr Harty Cup quarter-finals scheduled for this evening have also been postponed.
