WATCH: Mayo footballers receive a hero's send off to Dublin

As the Mayo senior football team set off for Saturday night's All-Ireland final with Dublin, the people of Ballyhaunis gave the county stars a fitting send-off on Friday afternoon.

Last weekend, it was the Limerick manager John Kiely and his players who we saw being afforded a hero's send off as they departed for Dublin and All-Ireland final with Waterford.

On Friday afternoon, little over a day after they take on the Dublin footballers in Croke Park, Mayo's footballers have been given similar treatment.

Departing the county via train, the Ballyhaunis GAA club made sure that although no fans will be in Croke Park as the county attempts to win its first All-Ireland since 1951, they will have plenty of support back home.

Decked out with the green and red flags along the platform, Mayo supporters ensured that the county's stars know they will have plenty of support on Saturday evening.

Taking on the six-in-a-row chasing Dublin in Croke Park, former Mayo manager John Maughan joined OTB AM on Friday morning and you can watch back his assessment of the clash here.

Meanwhile, we had a full All-Ireland Final preview show featuring Stephen Rochford, Kevin Kilbane and Barry Moran which you can watch here.
