Paul Coggins stepped down a London manager last night after five years with the team it has been announced.
The Roscommon native led London to the 2013 Connacht Championship Final where his side lost to Mayo. Wins over Sligo and Leitrim (after a replay) were London's first in the Connacht Championship since 1977.
Coggins' side also recorded a win over Fermanagh in 2011, but Coggins is best known for the 2013 Championship run that was ended in Croke Park by Cavan in the Football Qualifiers.
He leaves a side that have failed to win a Championship game in the past two years and lie in Division Four.
Sadly Paul Coggins has stepped down as football team manager. A sincere thanks to Paul for all his great work. Further statement to follow
