Carrick on Shannon's Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada was the scene for today's All-Ireland Junior club semi-final.
Everything appeared to be going fine as both teams, Monaghan's Rockcorry and Mayo's Ardnaree lined up for the national anthems.
However, something did go wrong as the CD playing the anthem cut out:

Fortunately, a Leitrim GAA official, who has since been identified as Sean O'Suilleabhain, rose to the challenge and sang the rest of the words as silence prepared to engulf the stadium.
A far better solution than Father Billy O'Dwyer lest we forget:
