News is coming through this morning of the untimely death of a former Kerry footballer following a road fatality abroad.
Paddy Curtin, who last played for the Kingdom in 2013, died from serious head injuries after he was in a car crash on Christmas week in Guatemala.
The Moyvane clubman was initially treated in Florida before being transferred to a hospital in Florida where he unfortunately died surrounded by family members who quickly flew out to be by his side.
