Dublin and Kerry will have to do it all again after they played out a 1-16 apiece draw in the All-Ireland Football final at Croke Park on Sunday.
Dublin stood on the brink of history at throw-in as they aimed to become the first-ever team in GAA history to win five All-Ireland's in a row.
Kerry though, the aristocrats of football, stood in their way as they aimed to win the Sam Maguire for the 38th time.
The kingdom were rewarded an early penalty that Paul Geaney stepped up to take but Stephen Cluxton saved it.
His coolness under pressure seemed to symbolise it was going to take a hell of a lot to rattle this Dublin side who are so calm in the face of anything that comes their way.
Dublin's goal then came from Jack McCaffrey and they went five points up at one stage as it looked like this final was going to follow the expected script.
Then the defining moment of the game came as Jonny Cooper was sent off just before the break for persistent fowling.
Kerry had other ideas about that script and Killian Spillane scored his first-ever championship goal for the Kingdom as a five-point swing saw them shoot into the lead.
Could a massive upset possibly be on the cards?
Dublin were well rattled and Jim Gavin brought on the big guns such as Diarmuid Connolly and Kevin McMenamin.
The Boys in Blue then appeared to level it as time ticked on as Cormac Costello seemed to send a point over but hawkeye ruled it wide.
Dean Rock eventually did level it in injury time and had a chance to win it with a free with the last kick of the game but the Ballymun Kickhams man sent it wide.
The replay is set for Saturday 14 September at 6pm as one of the greatest Irish rivalries is revisited.
