Tipperary are through to the Munster hurling semi-final after a 0-22 to 0-13 win over rivals Cork at Semple Stadium.

Tipp came into the game as favourites and took charge from the outset as they raced into an early lead, holding a 0-7 to 0-1 lead after a quarter hour of play.

Cork did pull it back to 0-7 to 0-3 shortly afterwards but it was as close as they got as Tipperary kept them at arm's length throughout the contest.

They now advance to a semi-final against Limerick on June 19th at Semple Stadium as they look to defend their provincial crown.

Meanwhile, Westmeath beat Carlow by 0-22 to 2-15 to top the Leinster Round Robin.

The Midlanders will face Galway in the Leinster quarter-finals. Offaly are also through to the last eight after they finished runners up. They will face Laois after they defeated Kerry by 3-19 to 0-20 at O'Connor Park.

Meath also booked their place in a first ever Christy Ring Cup Final. They beat Kildare by 1-21 to 0-21 in Newbridge and will meet Antrim in the decider at Croke Park.
