Dublin 2-14
Cork 2-10
Dublin pulled off a spirited second half fight back to overturn a seven point half time deficit to emerge four point winners at Croke Park, completing a Dublin double over Cork as the hurlers earlier routed the rebels.
Colm O'Neill and Peter Kelleher goals had Cork cruising at the break, but the tide turned in the second half as Dublin clawed their way back into the game.
Diarmuid Connolly's first half goal kept the reigning champions in touch with the rebels, with Cormac Costello's ability from the deadball keeping Dublin ticking over.
The lead exchanged hands an number of times late on, with Dublin's cause not aided by the sending off of Johnny Cooper.
However, Cork's own indiscipline would prove decisive as Costello nervelessly stepped up in injury time to point the winning score from a placed ball.
The win makes it four from four for Dublin, leaving them atop of division 1, while Cork remain on two points and in danger of slipping into a relegation battle.
