While the weekend had plenty of exciting qualifier and All Ireland quarter-final action, it was ex-Donegal footballer Martin McHugh who stole the headlines with this comment on The Sunday Game when discussing Kerry talent James O'Donoghue:
"He’s a better player than Cooper, in my opinion. He’s one of the greatest I’ve ever seen. Cooper is a two-trick pony but that lad is a six or seven-trick pony. He can use the ball differently, he’s got pace, he’s got two feet."
The comments have understandably caused some uproar and on this week's Monday Rewind, The Score's GAA editor Fintan O'Toole joined Oisin Langan to chat about the fallout from those comments from McHugh which have been clarified by the man himself.
Also on this week's Monday Rewind, you can hear all the managers, pundits and players' post-match reaction from the Bank Holiday Weekend football, while Fintan looks ahead to the All Ireland semi-final between Mayo and Kerry.
