The Hurling 2020 committee will unveil its proposals today.
Under the chairmanship of Liam Sheedy, it is expected the body will propose an advantage rule in hurling as well as the replacement of players who collect two yellow cards for low-end offences.
The Irish Examiner reports they'll also recommend the one-on-one 20-metre penalty that will be trialled in the pre-season tournaments this year.
A separate refereeing body for hurling may also be part of their recommendations.
