Just three minutes from the half-time whistle during the All-Ireland hurling semi-final, Galway’s Johnny Coen carried out a dangerously high tackle on Kilkenny's Colin Fennelly.
The corner back got off with a yellow card after he stopped the full-forward as he picked up the sliotar and headed towards goal.
Kilkenny manager Brian Cody couldn't hide his disdain from the sideline. While Clare corner back Podge Collins was quick to defend the tackle on Twitter but later rowed back on his position:
