Players from Galway and Dublin are to be banned for their involvement in the Fenway Hurling Classic.
Reports in the Irish Independent this morning state that both County Boards were informed of the CCCC's investigation findings yesterday. Dublin goalkeeper Alan Nolan and an unnamed Galway player are expected to face bans.
Both County Boards have already been fined €5,000 each for failing to control their players. Apart from the brawl in the second quarter, the game was deemed to be a massive success. Galway won the game which was played in a Super 11 format, 50-47.
