Clare 0-22
Warterford 0-22
(AET)
Waterford and Clare will have to do it all again after both sides played out a tense draw in the Allianz League Division 1 hurling final at Semple Stadium, with neither side able to secure victory even after extra-time.
The game remained tight up until the final minutes of normal time, with there never being more than three points separating the sides at any point.
Conor McGrath showing ice runs through his veins with a last minute free to level the game at the end of normal time.
McGrath was a one man scoring machine for the Banner as he pointed 12 times in regulation time while 19-year-old Shane Bennett was outstanding for Waterford.
But both sides were locked at 0-22 apiece after a tight extra-time period to force a replay.
That replay will take place next Sunday in Thurles.
