Clare pipped Kildare to Division 3 honours at Croke Park this evening after a hugely entertaining affair.
An Enda Coughlan goal in injury time proved crucial as the Banner overturned a three point deficit to win out on a scoreline of 2-17 to 1-19.
The game was nip and tuck right up until the very end, where referee Noel Mooney added seven minutes of injury time, and it was in the final minute of those seven that Eoin Cleary pointed a free to secure victory for the Munster county.
