There were over twenty league provincial fixtures down for decision around the country today.
Among the key results from today's action which took place in the Walsh Cup was a shock defeat for Kerry. Clare managed to come back from a 0-07 to 0-03 scoreline at half-time and reduced the 2014 All-Ireland champions to two points in the second half, before eventually win the tie.
In the McKenna Cup, Tyrone scored a one point win over Derryto advance to the final, despite shipping four goals. Derry were reduced to 14 men when Emmett McGuckin was sent off, but despite the brace of goals, Tyrone held on with Connor McAliskey scoring three unanswered points.

Donegal suffered a shock defeat to St Mary's in Letterkenny, while Fermanagh and Armagh came away with victories in their respective ties.
In the O'Byrne Cup, there were wins for Kildare, Meath and Longford while cup holders Dublin prevailed with four points to spare against the students in DCU.
The All-Ireland champions will be paired with Longford in the semi-final, while Meath will play Louth who romped home as winners over DIT today by 19 points.

There were FBD League wins for Roscommon, Mayo, GMIT and Galway, while Kerry came close to recording a win over Cork in the Munster Senior Hurling League. The hosts managed to squeeze out a five point victory in the end.
