The St Vincent's GAA club has secured three significant transfer moves involving players from around the country who have inter-county experience.
Irish sports media have revealed that Mayo’s Enda Varley, Lorcan Smyth of Westmeath and former Galway player Fiachra Breathnach are all migrating to the All-Ireland winning club St Vincent's this year.
The north Dublin club have won two of the last three Dublin senior football championships, in addition to their third All-Ireland championship in 2014.
This development brings the number of St Vincent's players from external counties to four, with Sligo defender Brendan Egan already a member of the squad.
St Vincent's, with an already potent attacking force at their disposal in the form of Diarmuid Connolly and Tomas Quinn, will be buoyed significantly by these arrivals. But not everyone is pleased with GAA players gravitating to Dublin clubs.

Of the new St Vincent's players, Enda Varley represented Mayo in their 2012 All-Ireland defeat to Donegal, Fiachra Breathnach played at centre-back for Galway in the FBD League while Lorcan Smyth was Westmeath's corner forward during their famous Leinster semi-final win over Meath.
