'For Armagh to win, every single one of them boys need to be 100 per cent convinced'

Former Armagh footballer Aaron Kernan says a real sense of believe within each Orchard County player will drive them past Donegal.

Kieran McGeeney's team are up against the 2012 All-Ireland champions in the Ulster championship quarter-finals and joining ex-Mayo manager James Horan on Off The Ball tonight to preview Sunday's game, Kernan was in confident mood.

He feels that, unlike a couple of past instances, full belief in victory can push the Orchard County over the line.

Citing the build-up to last year's very narrow defeat to Donegal in the All-Ireland quarter-finals, he said: "If I'm being totally honest, I felt that not everyone, looking back now, genuinely 100 per cent in that hotel room on the morning of that game, I just didn't get the feeling that everyone did [fully believe]. A lot of people did believe, others were hopeful. For Armagh to win this weekend, every single one of them boys need to be 100 per cent convinced that they'll win this game."

While, he thinks Armagh did "pick up bad habits in Division 3" this year, he still fancies them to do well on Sunday.

Armagh v Donegal is our live game on Off The Ball this Sunday with Kernan joining Dave McIntyre and commentary. Throw-in is at 2pm.
