Munster GAA have confirmed that Fitzgerald Stadium in Killarney will host the Munster SFC final between Cork and Kerry on July 2nd.
The Cork County Board confirmed on Monday afternoon that Páirc Uí Chaoimh would not be ready in time to host either of the Munster finals this summer as work continues on the structure.
There is still no word on the location for the Munster SHC final between Clare and Waterford/Cork a week later.
In a statement earlier today Cork County Board Chairman, Ger Lane said: "Clearly we are disappointed but we want everything to be pristine before the stadium hosts its first major games.
"We want to be certain that all the expectations for this tremendous new facility will be fully met and we are satisfied that this will be the case by mid July."
A scheduled handover date of June 18th has been pushed back to July 7th.
