Clare remain unbeaten in 2016 under Davy Fitzgerald as they qualified for the Munster Senior Hurling League Final on Sunday.
The Banner defeated Waterford 1-20 to 1-9 in Waterford IT to make it three wins from three in the League. They play Limerick next Sunday and look set to repeat that fixture the following week in the Munster Senior Hurling League final.
After the win against Waterford, Newstalk Sport's Oisin Langan spoke to Clare half forward Colin Ryan. The 2013 All-Ireland winner scored seven points in the win and was delighted to have another game and stay unbeaten in 2016.
"Individually as players, it's getting rid of the rustiness and everything else that goes with it... A lot of loads that get knocked out of the club championship in August or September they're really not going to pick up a hurley again until January."
Clare begin their Divison 1B League campaign against Offaly, and Ryan hopes the momentum in the squad continues. "You can't beat winning. No matter what anyone else says it's far more enjoyable when you're winning matches. If that adds to momentum and performances, then we are in a very happy place."
