Roscommon bounced back from their surprise Connacht semi-final to defeat to Sligo by knocking out Cavan in the All-Ireland qualifiers this evening.
In a match broadcast live on Off The Ball, John Evans' side were victorious by 3-17 to 1-16 at Breffni Park.
It was Cavan who came out of the blocks quickest though, with Martin Reilly scoring their first goal within 30 seconds of the first whistle.
However, Roscommon would haul themselves into contention and Cathal Cregg's goal minutes later swung the momentum their way.
Enda Smith would score two further goals to give Roscommon a relatively comfortable victory and after the game, manager John Evans did not mince his words when he spoke to our sideline reporter Billy Joe Padden.
Listen to what he had to say post-match:
You can also tune into Off The Ball tomorrow for live coverage of the Munster final between Kerry and Cork. Throw-in is at 2pm with commentary from Oisin Langan, Colm Parkinson and James Horan.
"A lot of S-H-I-T-E was spoken about Roscommon, none of it true. We're alive and kicking" - John Evans just now after the Rossies' win.
