Mayo look like they will be without Evan Regan for this year's Connacht championship.
The Ballina Stephenites forward has suffered a re-occurence of the broken collarbone he suffered in the league win over Kerry at the start of February.
Regan will be out for at least 12 weeks as he recovers from the latest break.
In a statement, Mayo GAA said: "Evan has been to visit the consultant and in conjunction with the Mayo Senior Football Medical Team will be reviewed and will continue to work to get Evan back to full fitness as soon as is possible. If is likely that Evan will be out of action for at least 12 weeks. We wish Evan a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the playing field in the Green & Red soon."
Mayo have a bye to the semi-finals of the Connacht championship.
