The Dublin footballers will be without All-Ireland winning centre-back Ger Brennan for the rest of the season.
Brennan has opted out of Jim Gavin's panel for the rest of the year as he continues to recover from a series of injuries that have prevented him from playing in the Championship since the 2013 All-Ireland final.
In a statement, the county board confirmed: "Dublin senior footballer Ger Brennan has decided to take a break from football for this summer. The player's Achilles heel injury has thankfully made steady progress and Ger will, after this extended period of recovery, return to play with his club St Vincent's later in the year, and with the county team in 2016. The Dublin Senior Football team will continue to provide Ger with the necessary support during his recovery period."
