Kerry are in the All Ireland quarter-finals yet again. But for Kieran Donaghy the road has not been easy, with a litany of injuries pockmarking his season.
The full forward did not hide his frustration when he spoke to Off The Ball tonight.
"It's been frustrating to be honest with you. For me, trying to get back into the team after being dropped down to form last year was a big target of mine," said Donaghy, who discussed the groin and shoulder injuries he has had to contend with.
"I'm still managing the situation in the groin. It takes that little bit of extra effort."
He also added that "it's the most frustrating year I've ever had regards an injury."
The Austin Stacks clubman also discussed the shift of positions from full forward and the importance of working on versatility and how he gets into the zone before a game.
