Former Derry footballer, Aaron Devlin, has been placed on life-support as he battles an "aggressive" strain of meningitis.
Aaron, the brother of Derry’s Coilin, was admitted to hospital after taking ill after a club game midweek.
The club said on Twitter that Devlin was suffering from a brain virus and confirmed that the following 48 hours is "crucial" in treating meningitis.
Aaron confirmed has an aggressive strain on meningitis. Next 24-48 hrs crucial. Keep praying we all know Aaron in a born fighter.

The club has urged their player to "keep fighting" and social media is awash with messages of support for the former footballer.
Thoughts go out to Aaron Devlin, a good Gael and Ballinderry man so he has plenty of fight in him. Hope he gets well soon.
