Cork's All-Ireland winning camogie captain, Anna Geary has announced her inter-county retirement.
The 27-year-old has made the shock decision after announcing that she wants to focus on advancing her career.
Geary captained the Rebelettes to All-Ireland glory just last season and her decision comes just six weeks before Cork are due to begin the defence of their title against Galway on June, 20th.
She has won numerous All-Star awards for her contributions down through the years for Cork.
