Monaghan forward Conor McManus says he hopes the media give the match against Cavan "the credit the game deserved".
Monaghan emerged from the hard-fought Ulster championship quarter-final away at Breffi Park with a 0-16 to 0-15 victory and after the encounter, McManus says it should be regarded as "entertaining".
"We didn't hit the ground running at the start of the second half and we ended up four down, so it makes life a bit more difficult to claw the game back and get back into contention," he said.
"All scores are vital and it finished a one point game. It shows it was a quality game and hopefully the powers that be and the media give it the credit the game deserved. It was a good game and fairly entertaining as well."
