Reports suggest that Diarmuid Connolly's case to the Central Appeals Committee has been thrown out.
The St Vincent's star was sent off late in last Sunday's All Ireland semi final after an off the ball altercation with Mayo's Lee Keegan. As it stands the Dublin forward will miss tomorrow's semi final replay with Mayo through suspension.
The appeal took place late last night in Croke Park, as Connolly exhausted all options to play in the sold out replay.
The Dublin County Board can still bring the case to the Disputes Resolution Authority in attempt to get the ban overturned ahead of tomorrow's game.
