It's a celebration that hasn't been seen in GAA circles before, but if it becomes a trend - it probably won't - Ronan O'Neill can be pinpointed as the pioneer who imported the "dab".
The Tyrone footballer, who scored two goals in the Ulster championship win over Derry two weeks ago, pulled off the celebration in an Allianz League match against Cavan, joined Cork's Colm O'Neill and Roscommon's Neil Collins on Off The Ball as AIB launched their sponsorship of the GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Championship.
And the dab was the first thing on the agenda before more serious matters like championship structures and the issue of strike action were cracked into. How did Tyrone manager Mickey Harte react to it?
"I think I'll save [another dab celebration] for bigger days. It may come back," O'Neill laughed after being put on the spot about not performing it again in the Derry match.
"[Mickey Harte] hasn't said anything to me, so it must have went down well then. [My team-mates] thoroughly enjoyed it."
"I'd be all over it. I'd be encouraging you, go on, get bigger all the time with even better celebrations," Collins added, while the other O'Neill admitted he had to Google the dab when it came to his attention for the first time a couple of weeks back.
