All Ireland finals are old hat for Brian Cody at this stage.
The nine-time All Ireland-winning manager will be going for his personal Decima on Sunday when his Kilkenny team take on Tipperary.
One of the big talking points ahead of the decider is whether the legendary Henry Shefflin will start or be used as an impact sub.
Our own Nathan Murphy put that to him and Cody places little importance on it, saying: "Henry sees the situation exactly as everybody else. The fact is he's a hugely important member of the panel as is everybody else and places are up for grabs. It will evolve and we'll see what happens."
As for his own experience of All Ireland finals, the Kilkenny boss believes it is "meaningless" when building towards the future.
He also spoke about the time given to managers in modern hurling as well as the pressure of the job.
Cody also praised Tipp and sees the final as a 50:50 encounter.
