Munster Hurling League
Clare 1-14
Cork 0-14
Clare secured victory against Cork under the watch of their new selector Donal Og Cusack at Sixmilebridge earlier today.
Shane O'Donnell secured the crucial goal that settled the tightly contested affair while former Hurler of the Year Tony Kelly landed five points of his own.
Clare led 0-08 to 0-06 at the interval before they stretched their lead thanks to Peter Duggan and Kelly points, but Cork proved a dogged opponent as they reeled Clare back into a one point game before O'Donnell's decisive score.
Elsewhere in Munster, Limerick defeated a gutsy Kerry side 2-23 to 0-18 at the Gaelic Grounds.
