Brian Cody says Kilkenny's thoughts are already turning towards the All-Ireland championship after today's heavy defeat to Clare in the Allianz League semi-final.
In his own words, the reigning Liam McCarthy Cup holders were "comprehensively" beaten by Clare, but speaking after the game, Cody was taking things in his stride.
"At the end of the day, it's the league semi-final. Last year we were beaten in a playoff to avoid relegation in the league and our run in the league was certainly better this year and we ended up with a bad beating today. But that's the way it is and obviously our thoughts now have turned straight away to the championship," he said.
Kilkenny open their Leinster championship campaign on June 11th, having been given a bye to the provincial semi-finals.
