Dermot Carlin has become the latest member of the Tyrone senior panel to quit the squad.
The veteran defender was an unused sub during last Sunday's qualifier win over Limerick and has struggled to break back into the team since returning from injury in the spring.
His retirement from Mickey Harte's Tyrone squad means that Sean Cavanagh as the last remaining link to Tyrone's 2003 All-Ireland winning panel.
Perhaps more worrying for Harte, Carlin is the fifth member of his setup to walk away since April after Paddy McNeice, Shay McGuigan, Dwyane Quinn and Emmett McKenna all left because of a lack of game time.
