Finn Lynch needs big qualifying finale to make Tokyo Olympics

Ireland's Finn Lynch needs a strong finish tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Laser World Championship in Sakaiminato, Japan if Ireland is to qualify this week for Tokyo 2020.

Two races remain and a pair of top ten results - well within his form from earlier this year - would most likely seal a place for next year's Olympics.

Vasilij Zbogar, Irish Sailing's head Laser coach said after today's racing, "I just want to see the fighting spirit tomorrow

Action gets underway on Miho Bay at 3am Irish time.
