Match to restart after Christian Eriksen confirmed to be in stable condition

It has been confirmed that the European Championships clash between Denmark and Finland will continue tonight.

During a European Championships clash between Denmark and Finland taking place in Copenhagen, Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch shortly before half-time.

Medical staff rushed to the footballer's aid and UEFA quickly confirmed that the game has been suspended.

Shortly thereafter, statements on behalf of UEFA and the Danish FA confirmed that Christian Eriksen had been "stabilised" and taken to hospital where he was reported to be awake.

It has now been confirmed that the match will continue tonight.

In statements first released by the Danish FA and followed shortly thereafter by UEFA, it was confirmed that the players were content to continue the match after Eriksen's condition was secured.
