England beat Wales by 33 points to 30 in an entertaining game, securing the Triple Crown and drawing level with France at the top of the table.

Eddie Jones' men got off to a great start as Anthony Watson, on his return from injury, reached out to score a try within the first four minutes.

The visitors almost got a try of their own only a few minutes later, but the TMO deemed the ball to be knocked on just before the line.

The Welsh were awarded a penalty from a scuffle in the aftermath of the potential grounding with Leigh Halfpenny slotting it through the posts.

Farrell and Halfpenny traded penalties to make it 10-6 to England, before Elliot Daly went over in the corner for the home side’s second try.

The two goal-kickers once again traded penalties to leave it England 20-9 Wales at the break.

Wales couldn’t have asked for a better start to the second half, however, with Justin Tipuric scoring beneath the posts after a lovely move straight from the kick-off.

That brought Wayne Pivac’s side back within four points, but England seized control of the game from there on out.

George Ford and Owen Farrell added a penalty each for their country before Manu Tuilagi scored a third try for the hosts.

Farrell added the extras, leaving England 17 points ahead of their rivals.

Eddie Jones' men were on the back foot for the remainder of the game with Ellis Genge picking up a yellow card while Manu Tuilagi was shown red for a high tackle on George North.

With England down to 13 men, Dan Biggar crashed over for a try on the 77th minute to reduce the deficit to 10 points.

The Welsh weren't done yet though, with Justin Tipuric touching down for his second try with the clock in the red.

Wales will play Scotland at the Principality Stadium in their last game of the Six Nation while England's clash with Italy is postponed due to fears over the coronavirus.
