British sprinter Dina Asher-Smith has been forced out of the Olympic Games through injury.
One of Team GB's most well-known athletes heading into the Olympics, Asher-Smith has been suffering with a hamstring injury she received in the build-up to the games.
After failing to make it out of her 100m heat, the 25-year-old World Champion sprinter announced her intention not to participate in the 200m event.
"It is the Olympics," she said in an interview explaining her decision, "but there is another one."

Needless to say, the sadness felt by Asher-Smith transmitted to many watching on as she announced her reluctant exit from the Games.
