Dave Kilcoyne set for 200th Munster appearance

Dave Kilcoyne will make his 200th Munster appearance in tomorrow night's United Rugby Championship meeting with Edinburgh.

The prop is set to become just the 12th Munster player to reach the mark.

Kilcoyne's inclusion is one of four changes to the team following their loss to Glasgow in the last round.

Craig Casey, Dan Goggin and Calvin Nash all come into the backline.

Niall Scannell is among the replacements having recovered from a shoulder injury.

Munster go into the match in reasonable form, having won all four of their last five matches in all competitions.

There's no Keith Earls in the squad, as he recovers following his release from the Irish squad.

He has a hamstring issue, with coach Stephen Larkham saying it will require time to heal.

"He's in and around the place at the moment so he's part of our leadership group,” Larkham said.

“He is contributing as much as he can along those lines. He's in a longer-term rehab programme at the moment, so when are we expecting him back? Not for the short-term.

"Once he gets out of, sort of, four or five weeks, then the timeline can be very variable based on how they respond in the first couple of weeks."

Munster team vs Edinburgh: Mike Haley; Calvin Nash, Chris Farrell, Dan Goggin, Simon Zebo; Ben Healy, Craig Casey; Dave Kilcoyne, Diarmuid Barron, Stephen Archer; Jean Kleyn, Fineen Wycherley; Jack O’Donoghue, Chris Cloete, Gavin Coombes.

Replacements: Niall Scannell, Jeremy Loughman, John Ryan, Alex Kendellen, John Hodnett, Neil Cronin, Jack Crowley, Shane Daly.
