Ger was joined in studio this week by The Irish Times' Malachy Clerkin, former Dublin football Tomas Quinn and former Mayo and Armagh star Billy Joe Padden on the Saturday Panel.
Tiger Woods' strife was among the topics discussed today. The former World Number 1 missed the cut last night at the US Open finishing joint fourth last at Chambers Bay. The panel discussed who difficult it is for golfers to leave the game and what they expect from Woods' future.
There have been some high profile omissions from GAA squads in the past few weeks. Former Kerry star Micheal Quirke joined Ger on the phone to discuss how Kerry dealt with similar issues in recent years.
Monaghan's Thomas Connolly was banned for two years for admitting to the use of an anabolic steroid.
