As a former Tottenham and Arsenal player, David Bentley knows a thing or two about the North London derby.
But this season's is even more exciting with both clubs going head to head in an exciting title race.
Ex-England international Bentley was in Dublin today as part of Setanta Sports' coverage of the Tottenham v Arsenal game this Saturday and spoke to Team 33's Raf Diallo about that Spurs Christmas party trip to Coppers in 2009, what Arsene Wenger and Harry Redknapp are as managers, as well as his brief spell in Russia.
That chat will be broadcast next Tuesday on Newstalk and as a Newstalk.com podcast.
But the 31-year-old, who took football fans by surprise by retiring two years ago, also gave his take on what Arsene Wenger's future could hold if Spurs and Leicester finish above them, and if he feels Tottenham can make the big step of beating Arsenal this Saturday.
Former Arsenal and Spurs midfielder David Bentley was at Dublin’s Irishtown Stadium today promoting live coverage of his former clubs’ crucial Premier League clash on the Setanta Sports Pack this Saturday at 12.45pm. It’s a Super Saturday of sport on the pack with UFC 196 McGregor V Diaz also exclusively live and three games in the Allianz Leagues also featuring. To subscribe go to www.setanta.com.
