The Kick Off: Richie Power set to miss Leinster semi-final

Kilkenny's Richie Power looks set to miss Sundays Leinster semi final with Wexford in Nowlan Park. The All Star winning forward has a knee injury.

In football, Monaghan defender Drew Wylie will miss the rest of the season. The Irish Independent reports that he's suffered a cruciate injury. Monaghan face Fermanagh in the Ulster semi final this Sunday.

RUGBY

Paul O'Connell completed his move to Toulon last night, according to reports.

The Ireland captain agreed a two year deal with the three time European Champions ahead of last night's deadline for Top14 clubs to register players for next season.

O'Connell will now link-up with the star-studded French club after the end of Ireland's campaign at the Rugby World Cup.

It's a busy day for the Irish boxers at the European Games in Baku.
