GAELIC FOOTBALL
Dublin are bidding to reach a 10th Leinster final in 11 years when Kildare come to Croke Park for this afternoon's semi-final.
The last time the sides met in the Championship was at the same stage two years ago when the Dubs had 16 points to spare.
Cian O'Sullivan gets the nod to replace Denis Bastick in midfield as the only change in Jim Gavin's side. Kildare also make just the one alteration to their line-up with Eoin Doyle coming into the team.
Throw-in in Croke Park is at 4pm, with the same counties meeting in the minors from noon.
In between the Dublin - Kildare double-header is the other Leinster Senior Football Championship semi-final as Meath take on Westmeath.
It's a 2pm start in that one, with Tom Cribbin making one change to the side that beat Wexford by nine points. It's Lorcan Smyth who's introduced as Ronan Foley misses out.
Meath, meanwhile have been boosted by the return to fitness of a number of players. Conor McGill, Mickey Burke and Bryan Menton come in to the defence, while Kevin Reilly is named in midfield with Mickey Newman sharpening the attack.
There's one more round 1B qualifier match to play today, too, with Tyrone welcoming Limerick to Omagh.
Limerick make the trip on the back of a loss to Clare, while the Red Hand county lost out to Donegal in Ulster.
Throw-in in Healy Park is at 4pm.
HURLING
There's a triple-header of Ulster hurling action at Owenbeg this afternoon.
At 12.15pm, Derry take on Armagh in the Minor Championship semi-finals, before the other semi between Antrim and Down at 2pm.
3.45pm then sees the Derry and Down seniors take to the pitch - that's also a provincial semi-final.
GOLF
At the start of Day 4 at the BMW International Open in Munich, Michael Hoey is still shouldering the Irish challenge.
He goes into the final day on 11-under par, five shots off the lead held by James Morrison.
Shane Lowry is on 8-under, with Darren Clarke and Damien McGrane both two shots further back.
Peter Lawrie tees off on 2-under, one ahead of Kevin Phelan.
EUROPEAN GAMES
Ireland's glory in the boxing ring yesterday brought down the curtain on the country's involvement at the European Games in Baku.
At today's closing ceremony in Ajerbaijan's national stadium, 14 year-old Mona McSharry will be the flag-bearer for the team.
The final tally for Ireland at the games was two golds, a silver and three bronze medals.
HORSE RACING
Today's action at the Curragh sees Ryan Moore and Frankie Dettori go up against each other for the Pretty Polly Stakes.
€150,000 is the prize for the winner and it's off at 4.30pm.
The action gets underway earlier, though, with the first race going to post at 2.15pm.
