EUROPEAN GAMES

Katie Taylor is chasing yet another gold medal today at the inaugural European Games.

The pair are due to step into the ring at 2pm Irish time.

Michael O'Reilly will also be fighting for gold today as he contests the Middleweight Final at 3.15pm.

O'Reilly received a bye to get into the decider where he faces the local favourite from Azerbaijan, Xaybula Musalov.

In Badminton, Sam and Chloe Magee are back in action in the semi-finals of the Mixed Doubles.

The brother and sister duo are taking on the French pairing for a place in this week's final.

Six Irish swimmers and the Mens 4x100m Medley Relay team are all in the pool today.

Emma Reid swims in the heats of the 50m Butterfly along with Danielle Hill and Niamh Kilgallen, while James Brown, Andrew Moore and Benjamin Doyle all compete in the heats of the 400m Individual Medley.

The Men's 4x100m Medley Relay team will be looking to follow the success of the Irish Women's team, who finished 6th in their Final on Thursday.

There is also provincial championship action this evening in Clones as Derry go up against Donegal in their Ulster semi-final.

Leitrim and Sligo clash in Carrick-on-Shannon in their Connacht quarter-final at 2pm.

The Leinster semi-final meeting of Longford and Meath takes place at Pearse Park at 3pm.

Also in Gaelic Games, there are four matches today in the Liberty Insurance Camogie Championship.

In Group 1, Offaly host Wexford in Birr, while Cork travel to Kilmallock to face Limerick.

And there are also two matches in Group 2 as Kilkenny go up against Clare and Tipperary play host to Derry.

All four of those matches will get underway at 2.30pm.
