The Kick Off: Federer, Murray and Nadal begin their Wimbledon campaigns

After most of the big names in the Women's draw began their Wimbledon campaigns yesterday, the likes of Roger Federer, Rafa Nadal and Andy Murray will be in action today.

Federer and Murray will both play their first round matches on Centre Court this afternoon, while Nadal will face Thomaz Bellucci of Brazil in the opening match on Court No.1 today.

Women's Champion, Petra Kvitova, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Caroline Wozniacki are among the other star names who will get their championships underway today.

Yesterday there were straight-sets wins for Serena and Venus Williams, Maria Sharapova and Novak Djokovic.

Manchester United's transfer activity is increasing according to reports they'll complete the signing of Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin for around £24,000,000.

Arsenal are also after the midfielder however it's belived United are offering more.

It's being widely reported that Manchester United have also made a £28,600,000 bid for Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos. 

The defender still has two years left on his contract at the Spanish club but it's claimed he's keen to move to Old Trafford this summer.

They may get the player in an exchange deal involving goalkeeper David De Gea.

Tonight in the Europa League First Qualifying Round First Leg, Shamrock Rovers are away to Luxembourg's FC Progrès Niederkorn. Kick off is at 6pm.

Last night in the Copa America, hosts Chile reached the final. They defeated Peru 2-1 in Santiago.

HORSE RACING

There's racing at Gowran Park this evening.
