In international football, Martin O'Neill will today name his provisional squad for next month's Euro 2016 qualifiers.
The Republic of Ireland play Gibraltar on the Algarve on September 4th, before playing host to Georgia three days later.
O'Neill is set to face renewed questioning over Stephen Ireland following his impressive start to the season with Stoke.
