The Final Whistle: Kerry bench the Gooch

GAA

The Cork and Kerry teams have been named ahead of Sunday's Munster final in Killarney.

Full-back Eoin Cadogan and midfielder Fintan Goold have both been restored to the Rebels team, with Conor Dorman and Colm O'Driscoll making way.

Kerry have made five changes from the side that swept past Tipperary in their semi-final, with Colm Cooper dropped to the bench.

In the only change to the defence, Fionn Fitzgerald comes into the full-back line, while fit-again David Moran takes over from Anthony Maher as Bryan Sheehan's midfield partner.

In attack, Stephen O'Brien and Donnchadh Walsh start among the half-forwards, while James O'Donoghue returns to the full-forward line instead of Paul Geaney.

The Munster final is live on Off The Ball this Sunday with commentary from Oisin Langan, Colm Parkinson and James Horan:

Also in football, Offaly will once again be without Niall McNamee for Saturday's All Ireland qualifier against Kildare.

The veteran forward remains sidelined with a knuckle injury.

The Offaly hurlers have also named their side ahead of Saturday's qualifier against Clare in Ennis.

Wing-back Eanna Murphy comes into the side in the only change in personnel from the team that were dumped out of the Leinster championship by Laois.

SOCCER

There were mixed fortunes for the three League of Ireland clubs in action tonight in the Europa League qualifiers.

UCD grabbed a 1-0 win over Dudelange of Luxembourg after Ryan Swan's close-range finish in first-half stoppage time was enough for the Students to claim a narrow victory in Belfield.

Cork City and St Pat's both need to score in the second-leg of their ties.

Cork were held to a 1-1 draw by KR Reykjavik at Turner's Cross.

Earlier, St Pats were beaten 2-1 by their hosts Skonto Riga in Latvia.

Elsewhere, Premier League side West Ham were 3-0 winners over Lusitanos of Andorra at Upton Park.

TENNIS

Rafa Nadal has been dumped out of Wimbledon.

The two-time champion has been beaten by a player ranked outside the world's top 100 for the fourth year in a row after losing in four sets against German qualifier Dustin Brown.

Earlier, there were wins for Roger Federer, Andy Murray and defending women's champion Petra Kvitova.

GOLF

Graeme McDowell's pursuit of a third consecutive French Open title has not got off to the best of starts.

The back-to-back winner was struggling on 1-over par after 17 holes when play was suspended for the day in Paris.

Germany's Max Kieffer leads by a shot on 4-under par.
