The Women's Gaelic Players Association says that it has registered itss disappointment with today's decision to press ahead with the controversial coin-toss to decide whether Dublin or Clare will advance to this year's All-Ireland senior quarter-finals.
The two sides finished level on points and on their head-to-head record in the group stages for this year's Championship, meaning that they will have to draw lots to separate them.
Despite both counties lodging appeals against the format, the Association says that their Disciplinary Committee is unable to overturn decisions made by the Ard Chomhairle.
The draw will be held tomorrow morning at 9.30am.
Meanwhile, Terry Hyland has indicated that he intends to remain in charge of the Cavan footballers for a fourth year.
Despite their heavy qualifier loss to Roscommon this summer, Hyland received the backing of the County Management Committee on Monday night and is now expected to be ratified at the next county board meeting.

Today's headline race at the Galway Festival was won by the David Wachman-trained Hint of A Tint.
The 6/1 shot got-up to win the Topaz Mile Handicap from Baraweez and Unsinkable.
Earlier, the Topaz Novice Hurdle went to odds-on favourite Long Dog for trainer Willie Mullins and jockey Ruby Walsh.

Munster have confirmed that new signing, Francis Saili will arrive at the province at the end of this week.
The 24-year-old is now free to move to Ireland after the end of the Super Rugby season.
The centre is set to take up a two-year deal after joining from the Auckland Blues.

The New England Patriots will have to start the defence of their Super Bowl title without star quarter-back Tom Brady.
The NFL have announced that they have upheld the four-match ban that had been given to Brady for his part in the so-called 'deflategate' scandal, which saw some members of the Patriots support staff deliberately deflate the match balls used during their play-off win over the Indianapolis Colts.
