"Joe Molloy doesn't even know my birthday is today!" - The Best of Off the Ball from this week

In case you were living under a rock on the moon, you may not have heard the guys talking about their diving lessons this week.

Along with that dive, there were quite a few things that happened this week on the show.

Here are the best bits from the week.

Poor Wooly is feeling a bit abandoned by Joe Molloy lately; he doesn't listen to him, he doesn't remember what matches he played in the past, he didn't even remember his birthday.

2. "Hurling was his life"

"He was one of those players who people came to watch. They just knew that there would be something special about Jimmy on the day of the match." - Ex-Tipperary star Len Gaynor on Off The Ball tonight.

Earlier this week, the GAA world united in mourning after the sudden death of legendary Tipperary wing-foward Jimmy Doyle at the age of 76.

To get an idea why La Nacion would make such allegations, we spoke to journalist and The Guardian contributor Marcela Mora y Araujo on Off The Ball.

4. "We got no pre-warning that we would be dropped"

On what should have been a week of celebration for Antrim after beating Laois in the All-Ireland football qualifiers, joy has been overshadowed by a controversy over the dropping of three players who were involved in a club hurling fixture the night before.

CJ McGourty told Off the Ball that one of the issues he and the team-mates affected had was the lack of warning about the potential consequences:
