Nicole Turner produced a strong performance to book her spot in the final of the S6 50m Butterfly this afternoon in Rio.
Turner finished in a time of 38.44 seconds to ensure she would be competing for a medal this evening, after 10pm Irish time.
She is the youngest of the Irish Paralympic squad and has previously flown the Irish flag at the 2016 IPC Swimming European Open Championships where she brought home silver in the 50m Butterfly.
